Dosem’s classic “Replicants” released on Suara Label

Dosem is back on Suara with “Replicants”, one of the most required tracks in his brilliant live sets. The Catalan star producer shows here his unlimited fascination for the future thru unstoppable hi-tech funk beats. A tech house percussive rolling groove runs unstoppable while a sick hypnotic trumpet kicks your head. It’s truly epic. It’s a winner. The pack incluides remixes by Johannes Heil and Edu Imbernon & Coyu. The German hero adds his personal minimalistic, dark and old school touch to the original creating a powerful big room remix for techno lovers. Suara boss Coyu teams again with Edu Imbernon for giving a slow and sexy new identity to “Replicants”. The trumpet is still here, but it works along a glomy bassline that turns to hot after the massive breakdown. “Replicants:, 3 different ways to enjoy a track. 3 different ways to reach the glory. Don’t miss the fascinating artwork of our visual designer GaAs.

New Dosem’s EP “Tales of Tomorrow” (Tronic) reaches Top10

Having just compiled the Tronic Treatment 2012 mix compilation for Christian Smiths flourishing imprint, there can be few artists who are more familiar with the label recent catalogue than Dosem. It comes as little surprised then that the Spaniard hits the target of what you would expect from a Tronic EP dead centre.

Riding the line between tech and progressive house, Tales Of Tomorrow comes firing out of the blocks with an infectious, rolling percussive groove and epic but building pads which grown through slow, pulsing loops to morph into an intricate arrangement; layered with a seductive siren riff that weaves within the mix as the rhythm track drops in and out to provide maximum dancefloor dynamics.

Spiral Attraction, originally released as an ‘album-only’ track on Dosem’s Tronic Treatment 2012 mix, maintains the vibe laid out by the a-side with the main hook created out of a combination of building pads and huge sweeping chords. Playing on the power of contrasting energies, the track pushes the euphoric heights at its peak, but returns you gradually back down to earth via a slamming tech groove.

* “Tales of Tomorrow” reaches quickly the Beatport Techno Top10, being featured and supported by John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Christian Smith, 2000 and One, Stephan Bodzin, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Nic Fanciulli, Marco Bailey, Gregor Tresher, Karotte, Secret Cinema, Tony Rohr, Alan Fitzpatrick, Steve Mac, Tom Hades, Ken Ishii…

His unique mastering of melody has seen him presenting modern, emotional and uplifting of house music for Diynamic Music, Plastic City, Darkroom Dubs, Freerange and Defected, each bathing in the warmth of Marc’s work. Today its the turn of Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat. Lead cut “Displayed Emotions” sees Marc delivering an impressively uplifting, somewhat trancey slice of house. Spritely melodies glisten as powerful synth chords build upon each other. Fellow master of the melodic arts, Spain’s Dosem, steps up to deliver an epic rework of “Displayed Emotions”.

Dosem remixes D-Nox & Becker’s “Jacaranda” on Tronic

Having released D-Nox & Beckers ‘Distance’ album in May 2011, Christian Smith’s Tronic label have assembled an impressive cast of talent for this two-part remix package which will bridge the label’s release schedule as 2011 ends and 2012 begins. Bringing together names from techno, tech house and progressive, this collection of reworks reflects the broad music styling of the original album but also embodies the genre range across which Tronic has come to operate; seamlessly blending deep, tough, melodic and percussive flavours. ‘Part One’ of the remix package contains a mix of names; many familiar to those who have followed Tronics 2011 releases, some new to the label, all delivering the goods! Having earned their stripes via previous releases, Hermanez (jacking, building tech house), Dosem (big room, melodic tech house) and Wehbba & DJ Anna (bassline hook progressive) have all represented the Tronic roster with pitch perfect, dynamic reworkings that neatly tie in the multi-falvours of the original tracks to the Tronic prevailing sonic template.
